I am Professor of Comparative Political Economy at Europa-Universität Flensburg, Germany. My research is concerned with institutional regimes governing employment, education and innovation in regional economies. In particular, I focus on the nexus between family structures and entrepreneurial performance in Mediterranean countries. My work is motivated by a theoretical interest in the solution of collective action problems in social dilemma settings.
